Chevron Green Services collaborates with Chevron Traffic Management for a de-vegetation project

One of the things we love about working on the SDF contract is being able to work alongside our Chevron Traffic Management buddies.

Last week, the team from Southampton was out on the A36 near Bath, working on a de- vegetation project. We were tasked with removing vegetation from and around a retaining wall to enable inspection and repair.

Because it was a complicated job, due to the location of the wall, we had support from Chevron Traffic Management who provided traffic lights to ensure we had enough room to work.

As well as clearing vegetation in front and behind the wall, we needed to remove the vegetation from the wall surface as well.

A small section of the wall required an MEWP to access safely. The MEWP had narrow profile legs to enable us to get close to the wall and not block the entire road whilst we worked.
