Steph Berwick - Head of Sustainability, Chevron Group
Following a degree in Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University, Steph joined the Chevron Group in 2020 as an ESG Analyst. In 2022 Steph started her Masters in Sustainability alongside her full-time job. Steph’s focus is on driving impactful sustainability initiatives, including Science-Based Targets, carbon management, Social Value, and comprehensive sustainability reporting. She is dedicated to creating a more sustainable future by integrating sustainability into business operations.
Lily Clarke - Ecologist, Chevron Green Services
After graduating from the University of South Wales, with a first-class degree in International Wildlife Biology, Lily joined our Chevron Green Services Consultancy division as one of our Ecologists. Much of her work is focused on project management and undertaking Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, protected species surveys, Preliminary Ecological Assessments and providing Ecological Clerk of Works supervision. Her interest in the human-wildlife conflict / coexistence, and the impacts on climate change and sustainability. She is a Qualifying member of CIEEM.
Cecilia Bevik-Cronqvist - Group Head of Sustainability, Ramudden Global
Cecilia Bevik-Cronqvist is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies across various organizations. Currently, she serves as the Group Head of Sustainability at Ramudden Global, where she is responsible for developing and driving the sustainability agenda across 12 markets, developing governance structures, setting goals, and initiating pilot projects with the goal to be the sustainability frontrunner. Prior to this, she was the Head of Sustainable Investing at Nordic Credit Partners, where she developed and implemented sustainable investing strategies, conducted ESG due diligence, and reported to investors and boards. Cecilia has also held significant roles at Institutional Shareholder Services - ESG, where she led a team within business intelligence supporting large institutional investors , and at EY, where she supported a wide variety of businesses on their strategic sustainability agenda. She holds a master's degree in Human Rights, with additional studies in anthropology and Mandarin.
Melissa Zanocco OBE - Co-Chair Digital Twin Hub Community Council
Melissa Zanocco OBE, Capital Projects & Infrastructure at Accenture, is one of the instigators of Our Vision for the Built Environment and Our Shared Understanding: a circular economy in the built environment, and is committed to transforming the built environment sector to produce better outcomes for people and nature. She is Co-Chair of the Digital Twin Hub Community Council as well as a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering / NEPC Materials Working Group, Green Construction Board Circular Economy Group, Construction Leadership Council Information Management Mandate Task Group and Bridge AI Construction Expert Working Group. She is also a member of the UN Women UK community, including as part of the delegation to the Commission on the Status of Women 2022-24.
Steve Elderkin - Director of Environmental Sustainability, National Highways
Steve joined National Highways in 2015 after a decade working in the central civil service where he was a member of the Government Economic Service. He has focussed on environmental policy and analysis, including leading the Government’s analysis for the Climate Change Act and setting the first 4 carbon budgets. At National Highways he has held the post of Chief Analyst, Project Director for a Tier 1 construction project and for the last 2 years has been Director of Environmental Sustainability. National Highways published their environmental sustainability strategy in May 2023, setting out their intention to be positive for nature, tackle local environmental pollution for the benefit of communities, and to make the transition to net zero highways by 2050.
Dougal Driver FICFor CEnv - CEO – Grown in Britain
Dougal is a Chartered Forester, Professional Environmentalist and Chief Executive of Grown in Britain. He is also Chair of Judges for the Environmental Professional of the Year Awards and The Chair of The Society for the Environment. His work at Grown in Britain is focussed on raising and setting the standards for UK trees, woods and forests. Whilst supporting and delivering research to improve local supply chains for forest products.
Alice Burgess – Ecologist & Biodiversity Net Gain Lead, Chevron Green Services
Alice’s love of animals led her to an Animal Management college course before graduating from University of Greenwich with a first in Animal Management and Agriculture. After jobs in Livestock, Agriculture and Ecology, Alice joined Chevron Green Services as an Ecologist in February 2024. Following the introduction of the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) legislation, Alice is also our BNG Lead, supporting clients and the environment team through the implementation of the requirements.
