Our de-vegetation services getting access to hard-to-reach areas

Earlier in the year, Chevron Green Services was commissioned to clear vegetation around a river wall in Barking, East London. Surveyors needed access to ensure the wall was stable, fit for purpose and to undertake any repairs needed.

Due to the time of year and the overgrowth involved, Chevron Green Consultancy were bought in prior to work starting to ensure that the site was free of nesting birds. They also recommended an on-site ECoW (Ecological Clerk of Works) was present during the works.

Our Chevron Green Services team spent a week clearing the overgrowth and brambles. They were required to wear life jackets due to the tidal nature of the site and always had somebody on tide watch! It was quite different from our usual jobs.
