As our company grows, we feel it's even more important to bring everyone together in celebration and recognition of the great work that our people are doing all around the business.
So it's with great pleasure that we're able to announce the first ever winner of our CGS Going the Extra Mile Award.
Awarded quarterly to the team member who has demonstrated one or more of the CGS cultural pillars; respect, competence and professionalism, trust, honesty and integrity and collaboration. Anyone in the business can nominate anyone else, and there is no limit to how many people you nominate each quarter. Our winner of the 2024 Q1 Going the Extra Mile Award is: 🌟Ryan McCormick🌟
Ryan is one of our Contract Supervisors at our Curdridge depot.
Jim MacPherson, Director had this to say: "Ryan is an obvious winner for the first ever Going the Extra Mile award. This was recognised not only by the SLT but by all those who voted for him. He had the most nominations with 5 separate people nominating him from different areas of the business. Ryan really stepped up whilst his Contract Manager was off at the beginning of the year, at the same time as the workload increased with an external audit and whilst continuing to run a busy area. We'd like to congratulate Ryan on his well-deserved win."
Here are a few of the reasons Ryan was nominated:
"Ryan is very innovative, always find useful tools to streamline and improve our workflow. He's been a very helpful mentor."
"Ryan stepped up and ran the depot whilst mentoring a new supervisor, managing all of the subbies, being on call overnight, and being out on the tools himself. He even managed to complete a very demanding external audit."
"Ryan ran the depot for an extended period, did a great job managing the health and safety side and asked for help when he needed it."
"Ryan really stepped up to the plate going over and above for the Achilles Audit in January. He managed to complete the Achilles desktop and site audit with the auditor, achieving fantastic scores across the board. In this time, Ryan also was managing to continue to run operations in the south west and area 3 with numerous clients and did a fantastic job under tricky circumstances."
As you can see, it's so well deserved, a huge well done to Ryan from all of us at CGS.
