Our team in the Midlands were recently called out to a mature oak tree that had become unstable and had blown into a live carriageway with its root plate exposed on the A46 near Evesham.

We could see from the information sent to us that this wasn't going to be an easy job given the size and location of the tree, so we worked on a plan to mobilise a safe and efficient operation.

Within 4 hours of the call, we were on site with the correct equipment that consisted of a 14-tonne excavator fitted with a rotating Vosch grapple saw, whole tree chipper, and bulk trailer for waste removal. Most importantly, we had a passionate and dedicated team of operatives that understood exactly what was required.

A few hours later and the tree was all cut up and removed from site with no work at height carried out and minimal use of hand held chainsaws therefore limiting the risks our operatives are exposed to.
