On Earth Day, we reflect on how the Chevron Group is creating a sustainable, collaborative business to protect our environment.

This is the Chevron Group's journey to net zero.

💚We signed up as members of the United Nations Global Compact

💚We have committed to setting science-based targets

💚Members of our ESG team are completing the UN SDG Ambition Accelerator course to help us set ambitious corporate targets and integrate the UN 17 sustainable development goals into our core business management strategies

💚SLT members from across the group have participated in a net zero road mapping workshop led by our ESG team. The session's outcome was a preliminary roadmap to net zero, which details ambitious and industry-leading carbon reduction targets that will feed into our submission to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Net zero is a journey which will be made of multiple small changes and big decisions. We are proud of our journey and the changes we are making towards a cleaner, greener planet for future generations.

These surveys ascertain requirements for specific habitat management, resulting in a valuable data source which will inform effective future resource allocation and asset management.
