In the third episode of our Year in the Life of an Ecologist, Lily Clarke takes us on a project with Carol Castlo, our Arboricultural and Landscape Manager.

Using the resistograph, a device to measure the health of a tree, they follow up on a previous tree survey to ascertain the amount of decay in a tree and whether it is better to save it or remove it.
