Creating and maintaining biodiverse habitats stands as a critical element in our collective efforts to combat climate change and heal our planet.

You may be aware that new biodiversity net gain (BNG) legislation has been finalised and is now law which means all developments and construction projects need to create or enhance biodiversity by a minimum of 10% as part of the works.

The introduction of biodiversity net gain is a real win for the natural world which in turn benefits us all!

Built into the legislation is a 30-year commitment to monitoring and managing the habitat to ensure the improvement to biodiversity is achieved long-term. Understanding and implementing biodiversity net gain can feel daunting, complicated and overwhelming, but luckily we have a whole team of talented Ecologists in our Consultancy division who can provide you with guidance on this.

Surveying, recommending different options to increase biodiversity net gain and then supporting the activation and on-going monitoring of BNG to ensure you're increasing biodiversity in the most efficient way possible.
