National Highways social value initiative sees CGS raising money for Air Ambulance charities

As part of our involvement in social value initiatives across the Midlands, we've been working with National Highways and other members of their supply chain to collect donations of clothes, accessories, toys and books for the Midlands Air Ambulance.

Across the Midlands, an impressive 176 bags, including 21 bags of donations from Chevron Green Services in the East, have been delivered to the Air Ambulance charities. Donations also came from Amey, COLAS, Jacobs, Crown Highways Limited, Carnell, Skanska and Griffiths Farrans JV.

We all worked together to ensure the bags were collected across the region and delivered to the right place, with Tobias Franke, our operations coordinator, on the collection team.

We're really proud to be a part of this initiative; it's a fantastic charity to support, relying entirely on the support from businesses and local people.
